Studios

Fablevision was delighted to launch our first trading arm in February 2009 – a wholly owned subsidiary of the Charity – Fablevision Studios.

Studios is a production company providing web, technical, audio visual, graphic design, film and editing services to private, public and voluntary sector clients as well as to all members of the Fablevision “group”.

Studios delivered the SPARR visuals and visual production for the performance as well as the web based learning resource. Studios provided technical and support services for Fablevision “group” members: the Cultural Planning Institute, Cran Theatre, SAT, Norman Douglas and Transform TV during 2009 as well as serving customers in the public and private sectors (Heritage Lottery’s 15th birthday celebrations, the Pearce Institute and Wildworks).

By November 2009, Studios was well placed to deliver on key objectives for the Charity: providing the through flow for employment opportunities for those young people who have come through the Transform TV training programme (several of those young people secured free lance contracts for music composition and graphic design from Studios) as well as providing employment opportunities for long term unemployed people in Scotland – a particularly important service during these times of recession.

With a contract from SCVO to deliver Future Jobs fund employment opportunities during 2010, Studios now has a team of 5 and has the capacity to deliver contracts in the public, private and social enterprise sectors. No job is too small or large for the Studios team.
