Current Projects
Sparr (Social Return on Investment Audit)
Following our intensive engagement process during 2008 in Govan where local people explored their ship building past and how it links with the Western Isles, Fablevision has achieved funding from the Scottish Government to carry out a Social Return on Investment Audit. The evaluation will measure the impacts, outputs and economic value of the three key areas of the project: the oral history gathering and skills training for disenfranchised young people; the development of the web based learning resource for use in schools, communities and libraries, and the large scale community theatre performance in the Harland and Woolf shed. The findings from the SROI will be shared with local stakeholders at an event in April (date to be confirmed) hosted by the Pearce Institute.
